Mix™ uses the real-time power of the internet to let you make a reservation today and attend a mixer tonight... no advance planning, no searching profiles, no emailing, and no waiting for an event...just think about it as an Instant Mixer™. Your mixer will take place at a bar near you and the small group format means that there’s no need to "work a crowd," so it's all fun and no stress.
On just a minute’s notice you can choose to go out to socialize and meet people tonight – people that could be your next date, your next activity partner, your next invite to a party, your next wingman, or your next best friend.
When you join Mix, you fill out a very brief profile card. Then on any day you want to go out, you simply make a reservation by selecting your age group, departure location and maximum travel distance. That’s it, just a few clicks and you're done!... spontaneous, quick, and easy. In order to maximize mixer attendance, you can only make a reservation on the day of the mixer.
At 5PM(2PM on Sundays) we run the Mix clustering engine to geographically group the reservations and select a bar centrally located to the people attending your mixer. A few minutes later we email your Mixer Confirmation with the mixer participants and location. We also text you the basics, so you don’t need to wait at your computer.
The mixer size ranges from 5 to 7 people, but we target a mixer of 6 with an even split of men and women. And to get the conversation started Mix will provide everyone with a few interesting items that you’re willing to share about yourselves.
Feel free to bring a friend - the more the merrier, and they don't even need to sign up.

When Mix launches, mixers will be offered on Thursday nights only, but additional days will be added as Mix grows. In the future we will give you even more ways to tailor your Mix experience including different venue types, clustering by common interest, and creating Instant Mixers for just you and your friends.
